Organization of this photo section follows the major family branches of the three children of Carl Friedrich and Christiane Wilhelmine Wolle: Carl Wilhelm, Charles August, and Carl Friedrich Jr.  Of the three, only Carl Wilhelm and Charles August immigrated to the United States, arriving in Galveston, Texas on December 15, 1848.  Carl Friedrich Jr. remained in Germany, and his lineage continues there to this day.
